What’s the age of consent in Israel? 

Here it is in a nutshell, from Wikipedia: "According to the Israeli Penal Code of 1977 the age of consent in Israel is 16 for any form of sexual relations involving penetration. A special case arises when a person aged 14 or 15 had sexual relations with an older partner; in this case the older partner would be exempt of criminal liability if three conditions are met: the age difference between the partners was less than three years, the younger partner gave consent and the act was done out of ‘regular friendly relations’ and without the abuse of power."

“Jamaica Aids Support for Life (JASL) has said physical and sexual violence against women remains a significant contributor to the prevalence of HIV in Jamaica. In a release to mark International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women which is being observed today, JASL said females 13 to 19 years old remained the most vulnerable to infection. The organization said, however, that approximately 40,000 Jamaicans are living with HIV/AIDS, or 1.5 per cent of the population, a significant reduction since the disease emerged in the 1980s. JASL said inequality in sexual relationships continues to affect females' ability to negotiate condom use. And, they say the situation is still being compounded by the culture of multiple partners among males.”
